Lot 26 – Full sheets, 1949 constitution printer’s sheets, Sc# 856a-858a. All are unwatermarked and have the papermaker’s watermark in the margins of the sheets. There is a small tear in the top selvage of the 1Ft sheet. Min Bid $400.00
Lot 27 – Very rare Western Hungary cover sent to Munich December 1, 1921. Estimated market value is in the $300-400 range. Min Bid $150.00

Lot 30 – A picture postcard sent on October 13, 1913 via express mail from Gyergyoszentmiklos. An unusual express marking on a postcard. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 31 – Three covers: a faked unaddressed oversized cover with Sc# 203-222, postmarked July 12, 1919. Has a vertical crease with separation at the top. Second cover is an 1877 folded sheet sent from Pancsova to Vienna, franked with a 5kr colored-numeral stamp. Third cover is an 1878 cover sent from Novska to Becu(?). Has a K.K.Post backstamp among others. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 32 – A sealed cover with a special postmark for the coronation on Dec. 31, 1916. Commercial rather than strictly philatelic use. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 33 – A nice, clean 1882 cover sent from Korosladany to Kis-Koros, franked with a 2- and 3-kr. stamp, plus an 1890 business postcard (from a rolling mill in Raab) sent from Gyor to Oedenburg, franked with a 2kr colored-mumeral stamp. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 34 – Two small covers: a 1902 cover sent from Eperjes to Zsolna, franked and sealed with two 5f turuls, and another 1902 cover sent from Nyitra to a woman in Wolfenbuttel, Germany, with a card inside that reads in German, Josef Engel, knight of the Franz Josef Order. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 35 – A single-franking, registered, censored cover sent on Nov. 15, 1914 from Fotkeresztur to South Bethlehem, PA via New York, franked with a 50f turul stamp. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 36 – Four payment receipts for long distance phone calls made from a post office, all postmarked in Szekszard on April 3, 1916. Two are franked with a 1k stamp and two with a 2k stamp. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 37 – A registered but ratty cover sent from Salgotanjan to Cleveland, OH via New York in April 1922. Letter is still enclosed. The special cancellation applied was used on all foreign letters soliciting contributions for the starving children in Hungary in 1920-22, when the country was inundated with refugees from the areas given to the successor states, as well as the widespread devastation after the lost war. Lot 38 – Two covers with railway cancels: the first a postal card sent from Poprad-Felka to Dresden on August 17, 1913, and the second a cover sent from Gyula-Fehervar to Nagy-Disznod on May 4, 1900, franked with a 10f turul stamp. Min Bid $5.00

Lot 53 – A 1912 registered cover sent from Bajaszentistvan to the NY Institute of Science. Nice clear cancel on a 50f turul stamp. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 54 – Three covers/PPC, one is an Easter card franked with a 10f white-numeral Harvester stamp, the second shows a portrait of Karoly and is franked with a 15f white-numeral stamp. The second card has a corner crease. A good pairing of early usage harvester stamps. The third cover is a beautiful art card showing Lwow, sent to Sweden. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 55 – A soldier’s fieldpost letter with Austrian and British censorship, free franking to New Jersey. Unusual to find without postage due. Min Bid $10.00
Lot 56 – Two 1938 covers, the first is a censored commercial cover sent to Czechoslovakia just before the border adjustments, the second is a picture postcard of Parliament sent to Tufts University without a written message. Min Bid $10.00
Lot 57 – Four covers with korona-currency franking: the first sent to Burlington, VT, the second a request for a journal, the third a registered cover from Budapest to New York, and the fourth a commerical cover sent from Budapest to Vienna. The Mauthner cover is franked with a perfinned stamp. Min Bid $10.00
Lot 58 – A philatelic cover sent from Budapest to Vacz, franked with multiples of the 3, 5, and 10f wheat sheaf stamps. Min Bid $5.00
Lot 59 – Three covers sent in the mid-1920’s by S. Kelen, two to the same person in Philadelphia and the third to Louisville, KY. Two of the cards have mixed korona-pengo franking. Min Bid $10.00
Lot 60 – Four covers: the first a registered printed-matter cover sent to Burlington, VT, the second an ad for a new medication, the third from a stamp dealer in Budapest, and the fourth from the Hotel Dunapalota in Budapest. Min Bid $10.00
Lot 61 – Three 1948 covers: the first a cover sent from the Hungarian State Tourist Office to New York, the second and third sent to the same person in Louisville, KY. One of these cards is a thank you for a welcome warm wool coat, and the postal meter and customs label have been attached to the card. Min Bid $10.00

Lot 86 – Five Tabori Post items: first, a cover sent from Tabori postahivatal 251 to Steiermark in Austria on February 28, 1916. Regimental cachet for “K.u.k. Abschnittskommando FMLt.
