PURPOSE: For flood relief, from the April floods.

DESIGN: Man struggling in flood waters, protecting woman and two children from onrushing water.
HISTORY: Inscriptions (above) The three mountains, Tatra, Fatra and Matra, are surmounted by the crown of the kingdom and the patriarchal cross in copper red, typifying the Kingdom of Hungary; (below four lines) symbolical of the four rivers of Hungary, Danube, Tisza, Drava and Szava, and the inscription on a ribbon “AZ ARVIZSUJTOT TAKERT” “1940” (In aid of flood victims 1940).
